Anyone know of a flash drive that doesn't have a light on it?

heh, going style . . . i have a 4gb PNY that has no light. best buy had them on sale . . .
Mine's dim enough to be covered by a permanent marker.
Why on earth do you want it covered, though? How will you know when stuff's finished writing to it before yanking it out?

No, its for a car stereo with front USB port. Don't want an annoying light on the flash drive.

Thought about doing it to my SanDisk Cruzer, but I need another flash drive anyway. Why not get one with no light or a smaller light thats easier to cover up? Plus my biggest flash drive right now is 2GB. I'll need a 4-8GB.liquidat0r wrote:

Yeah I looked at SD card reader stereos and should have got one. Too late now.
Shame, I bunged a USB Stick in mine not long after I got it, went to turn the volume up and knocked the stick out, never used it again just stuck with SDs Not helpful I know lol, actually learn from me, buy a very short USB stick
I don't like having a USB stick out the front, probably just asking for trouble. The stereo I have has all the controls on the left (drivers) side and the aux & usb inputs on the right. Should be less likely to bump it on accident.

I don't know why you particularly need reviews because they kinda either work or they're DOA.
Anyway, it's small, it's easy to loose and it doesn't have a light. (I put mine on a piece of string).
Don't really need reviews, but when I first started searching I wasn't get info on whether they had lights or not.

My Kingston Datatraveler does have a hidden light, but it is on the opposite side of the driver...
I prefer SD cards though (fits in my cheap'o Denver radio aswell
