Anyone know of a flash drive that doesn't have a light on it?
Or one that has a small dim light that can easily be covered up with marker or paint?

Didn't the news say something about the US military easing the rules for thumb drives now?liquidat0r wrote:
Mine's dim enough to be covered by a permanent marker.
Why on earth do you want it covered, though? How will you know when stuff's finished writing to it before yanking it out?

Thought about doing it to my SanDisk Cruzer, but I need another flash drive anyway. Why not get one with no light or a smaller light thats easier to cover up? Plus my biggest flash drive right now is 2GB. I'll need a 4-8GB.liquidat0r wrote:
So just cover it up with marker pen tbh.
Get one with an SD card reader instead (unless you've already bought it) I love my car stereo, cheap and nasty one as it is it's really not bad, the radio did kinda break but, who uses then when you've got a 16GB SD card full of music lol.west-phoenix-az wrote:
No, its for a car stereo with front USB port. Don't want an annoying light on the flash drive.

Completely randomly, I have the top one.west-phoenix-az wrote:
These two look small and look like they don't have lights. Anyone own one of these?

I use a "normal" sized usb for my car audio... doesn't really bother me tbh... control sceme identical to yours...west-phoenix-az wrote:
I don't like having a USB stick out the front, probably just asking for trouble. The stereo I have has all the controls on the left (drivers) side and the aux & usb inputs on the right. Should be less likely to bump it on accident.
