Incidentally I should be at the Arsenal v Burnley match this Saturday coming.... Can't believe we still have a crack at the premiership after losing to all the big clubs.

Poe, Man Utd got banged over 1-4 by liverpool and also lost a few other games against the big teams in the previous seasons but they still won the league, the premiership is 38 games not 8 or whatever.
But 15 points from your next 5 games is almost a must, I reckon if you don't get 15 in the next 5 then that'll be it. Expect Chelsea to drop points against Man Utd at old trafford etc..

Why don't you take the blinkers off then come back with a comment that isn't retardedly biased..Gooners wrote:

How bad the injury was had NOTHING to do with the severity or any intent behind the tackle. A 50/50 tackle that resulted in an accidental and yes horrific injury...Gooners wrote:

So stop being an archetypal Arsenal fan, with little understanding of the game...
Look at the replays, look at Shawcross' reaction, look at the ref's comments after the game, watch for when Ramsey talks to the press and tells them it isn't Shawcross' fault soon. Stop taking Wengers sensationalist comments as if he'd a god. Shawcross isn't a "dirty twat", grow up.
yeah well at the moment we're all pretty pissed, what do you expect us to do? aww, he was crying, he felt bad, that's not putting the bones in ramsey's leg back together is it. in 2-3 years we've had 3 horrific injuries inflicted to our players, Diaby, Eduardo, and now Ramsey. all this bullshit about playing hard against us, as mek stated earlier, and look what happens.
yeah, a bit too physical. maybe shawcross didn't do it intently, but he's made dangerous tackles before that have caused serious injuries to other players.Mekstizzle wrote:

And no Arsenal player has ever made a reckless or dangerous tackle?Gooners wrote:

Take a look a Fabregas's lunge on Stoke player towards the end of the game clearly a dangerous challenge which he launched into with malice after losing the ball, but a tackle that didn't even result in a free kick. Gallas puts in some nasty challenges to, and going back a few years Arsenal under Vieria's captaincy was one of the dirtiest teams around as reflected in the teams disciplinary record.
Just because Arsenal had been unfortunate in suffering 3 of these terrible injuries and people (particularly Arsenal fans themselves) seem to eulogise about their passing football, they seem to see themselves as different to other teams and deserving of some special treatment from the officials and in need of more "protection". This also seems to make they overlook any bad tackles committed by their own players because they aren't a "physical team".
Stoke have a over hyped and largely undeserved reputation as overly physical and as some idiots would say "thuggish" team. But we play a fully committed yet FAIR and HONEST game and we play the same way against every team.
i like physical and angry matches. so idc tbh aboot the tackle.

Gooners just buying into the Wenger whining, "all the other teams are talentless thugs, who are a disgrace to the game and are all in worldwide conspiracy against us" routine.11 Bravo wrote:

I never said it would, he was crying because he broke someones leg by accident, you don't cry if you mean to break someones leg...Gooners wrote:

Funny you never say anything about Eboue going in over the ball, Fabregas' reckless tackles when he gets angry. The Ramsey accident was completely different though, his studs weren't raised, it wasn't two footed, how can you fail to see it isn't a malicious tackle?Gooners wrote:

Shawcross had every right to go for the ball.... I reckon everyone realises it was a terrible accident besides Arsenal fans.
♥
listen mofo. im an arsenal fan. read what i said. revise your statement. good day.Toilet Sex wrote:

I was at the game and sit nearly level where it happened, and at the time i thought it was a 50 - 50 challenge and so did others around us. After seeing the replay again shawcross was at fault BUT never went in to harm him, he went in hard to win the ball he lost control of. Like i think the sheriff said, it wasn't 2 footed or off the floor, just a hard challenge.Toilet Sex wrote:

As for wenger asking for a longer ban, he is a blind fucking retard of never see's his teams bad challenges and blatant diving, but is quick to see every other incident and want longer bans given out.
Eboue blatant dive again exactly the same as the 1 he got booked for at United. Fabregas bad challenge unpunished, and the reff for giving the game to Arsenal with a bullshit penalty( same as in the cup final yesterday that WASNT given cos its not a penalty) just because they are a top 4 team who had a man badly injured.
