That is true. I have alot of old legos but I dont use them anymore. The new ones are pure shit and not even worth a cent. +1 to the guy who made the awesome aircraft carrier.

I've collected most of the 1st series of starwars lego kits and a good number of the new versions as well.  Haven't purchased the Deathstar or the Imperial stardestroyer yet....(the biggun, the baby version is shit)

My travels have taken me to Denmark and at the age of 9, I saw the glory that is Legoland.  F'in awesome.  I can only imagine how much it has grown and what wonders it holds inside now. (21 years have past since that summer, I'd expect oompa-loompas run it at this point)

I remember  Mount Rushmore built outta 2.4 million Lego,  Driving a lego car (scaled to a 9 yr old), Sifting for lego gold nuggets, the minature cities (plural), it was truly amazing. 

Now I've got a nephew who is entering the age of creation with lego.  I bought him about 15 sets of starwars, put em together with him.  Then we disassembled all the kits, put all the lego in a  one huge bucket, and dropped the manuals in his lap.  Watching him is like having a toy without batteries.  He creates stuff that surpasses my own legoventions tenfold.  For all you who have kids, this is hallmark card shit right here.  I love it.

Looks like one of those Star Wars Clone War vehicles with roller blades

The sad thing is the creator is probably 30+.

I love Lego but I never buy it these days. It's far too expensive (apparently they fix prices similar to the way Disney do), and you're done with it in about half an hour.

I'd really love to be able to make heaps of the new models they have but it just costs too much. Plain and simple.
