i was proud of the 2002 Games, and no one who lived here at the time really minded the security detail (or said so out loud) or thought there would be any planes flown into the ceremonies or anything. our nation needed those Games, at that time. too bad i couldn't get tickets to the hockey final though . . .

I may be mistaking but some of the other Nordic countries players are in us college and uni. So to develop better teams in their countries they will have to step up a good program in a rush manner for the 12 & + year old then move to the younger ones. The Olympics were great for Vancouver too, there were sooo many transportation problems with that city (not that there arent anymore). Theres about 104563045 bridges so traffic gets horrific at certain parts of the day.Kmarion wrote:
