Whether it be presidents, inventors, mathematicians, war heroes, or whatever. List some of your favorites.

Abraham Lincoln (president, freed slaves, saved the union, etc), Andrew Carnegie (big industrial role, philanthropist, etc), and Thomas Edison (inventor of the light bulb, along with other things) are some of my favorites.

Try to list people from like 50+ years ago only.

Try not to spam it either please.

Subutai was the primary military strategist and general of Genghis Khan and Ögedei Khan. He directed more than twenty campaigns in which he conquered thirty-two nations and won sixty-five pitched battles, during which he conquered or overran more territory than any other commander in history.

If anyone has the time, you should read some of the accounts of the Sack of Baghdad.

The mongols killed nearly a million civilians in a week.

Jesus.

I was serious the first time I posted it.

I don't believe he was a miracle worker, a god, or a savior, but you can't deny the man's impact on all history to follow. Interesting to study as a historical figure, and even more interesting to study the myth built around him.

If it wasn't for Adolf Hitler, the technology of the time would never have been propelled so fast as it otherwise might have been.

I'm a huge fan of George Washington, though.
