I have 'acquired' said game.

However I have yet to install it. Just havent been in the 'mood' for stalking, lately.

Yeah. Quite a while ago I'd play it constantly for hours on end. Exploring and shit like that.
However since Ive only played SoC, Ive played through the same game, same levels, same missions countless times....
It gets boring, but has its times.

Im at the part in Pripyat where the technician is supposed to radio HQ after an emission but he just stands by a wall and im stuck in a room not able to do anything lol! Did you have any problems there?

Reloaded it for the 10th time there and it worked fine lol. Just after finishing the game, really enjoyed it probably my favourite of the series. Hope a proper sequel is in the works!

I've not bought it yet. No money these days, especially after some necessary house maintenence.

So. It's my birthday in early March so i'll get it then .

Does anyone know if the minimum requirements are the same. Do I have the option of turning all the fancy effects off and playing it in SoC mode? Or am I going to have a slideshow.

Edit: Well I checked the Steam Store pages. SoC has the minimum as Pentium 4 2Ghz, 512Mb RAM, and CoP has Pentium 4 2Ghz, 768Mb RAM. Same recommended minimum graphics cards.

So basically yes I think i'll be able to play it with a smooth fps .

Grenade launchers are horrible. Trajectory is nowhere close to what it should be/ used to be in first two S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games. You have to aim into sky to hit a zombie standing 20 methers away from you. + for some reason beyond my udnerstanding they removed grenade launcher ironsights.
