Why should the federal government take my tax money to pay an agency to edit everything that the public sees according to its opinion of whats bad.

I'm just fucking with you... I believe that censorship should not extend to what adults watch. TV watershed is fair enough because kids can easily get access to watch TV but beyond that we should be allowed to make our own decisions regarding what is shown in films and so on (with respect to actual laws obviously e.g. rape, real violence, child abuse etc.).
