I realize this is a sensitive subject so you can vote anonymously through the polls if you don't wish to share your story. How did you feel afterward if so? Depressed, regretful, etc, maybe nothing? How do you feel today? Nightmares, tension, etc?

The 'Other' option is for if you don't know for sure, maybe a combat situation where you weren't able to confirm your kill.

I'm considering a possible military career in the future so I'm just curious.

This is not the sort of question one should asking others.

not what i meant.  It goes with the "veterans are emotionally scarred" bullshit. people expect everyone to have returned from a war zone to live the rest of their lives like zombies.

There are just certain questions that shouldn't be asked, this is right near the top of that list.
"Ah, you miserable creatures! You who think that you are so great! You who judge humanity to be so small! You who wish to reform everything! Why don't you reform yourselves? That task would be sufficient enough."

I'm always left a bit uneasy when a person can easily admit to having killed someone purposefully.

Stupid question, but I do understand androoz's curiosity. It's something I've always wondered how I'd react to... but hopefully I'll never find out.
