I've really tried to keep an open mind going into this thing but the guy hasn't said a single thing that I could get behind. All I hear is spend spend spend and a doubling down on the progressive agenda.

Hot air. We already have the biggest GDP in the world by a very wide margin.

If you want shit done, you normally have to pay for it.

GDP doesn't make us better, it simply means our rich are richer then their rich

Nothing he has proposed is worthy of a single penny of mine.

The majority of America voted for him, live with it.  This is a democracy, he won the rights to spend your pennies by winning that election.

He'll only have one term. And a half term at that because he won't get a single thing passed after November.

people said the same about Reagan and Clinton too

both of whom got put up against horrid opponents... and seeing how the GOP did last year (Palin wise, not so much McCain), it's very very possible he'll be a 2 term pres

Good to know GOP obstructionist policies are still going strong.

We'll have to see about those midterm elections, they may just surprise you.

Pretty well actually, I have a feeling the people of Massachusetts have put the GOP in quite a predicament.

I'm going to have to respectfully disagree. Just Say No is a sound policy with this president.

Yes but the just say No policy kinda conflicts with the deal that was made that would let this do nothing Healthcare bill pass without the GOP throwing a hissy fit.  Now if the GOP just starts filabustering the shit out of everything that comes along it's going to be quite apparent that they aren't even trying to come to some sort of agreement.

Need I remind you the the GOP continues to drift right as the country watches them float away?

Watching it kinda with my dad. I've been clapping along with the crowd on TV, lol. I laughed when he called out Michelle and she was all like alright, alright, simmer down.

Need I remind you that progressives only make up 20% of the population in this country and a referendum against Bush over the past three years is not a sign that this country wants reckless spending and socialist programs?

Why the fuck would they want to work with Democrats when the Dems are shutting them out of making the core of the policy? Invite the Republicans in to do what? Work out a few details to make themselves happy? No. Fuck this entire government. Bunch of fools the lot of them.

Then you need to pay better attention. I'm not a Republican. I have no 'boys'.
