an engrossing tale of science vs. religion set in 19th century England. The action augmented plot, not drove it.
for this show, bring a box of jujubees, and milk duds. no titties, and gender neutral (code for- if you and the wife forgot
who picked the last movie, this one's not a chick or dick flick.

The Blind Side - 10/10

Very well acted (Sandra Bullock did a great job, "Big Mike" was amazing and SJ was fantastic)
Great story that left me tearing by the end.

Definitely one of the best movies of 2009.

Saw Basterds recently. Didn't like. Not sure what his point was in making it. His films only worked because they never tried to be grounded in reality and in Basterds he used historical figures, which made it fail epically. Boring and the plot moved too slowly for what it was. Acting was good, and the Jew Hunter was a great villain though.

Last movie I watched was Up.... Bit of a change for Pixar there. Enjoyed it greatly.

8/10 Very enjoyable, love Guy Ritchie and Downey Jr. even more now. Comic moments, good action scenes and Downey Jr. does a good english accent! Although it's not sure it's one I would want to buy. Looking forward to a sequel though.

Cloverfield - 4/10 It's something different I guess but the whole shaky camera thing gets annoying after a bit. Think Blair Witch meets Godzilla except one of the guy's that would normally be screaming and running from Godzilla is the one filming the movie. Towards the end of the movie I finally got a good look at the monster and couldn't help but notice a strange resemblance to Admiral Ackbar. It's Meh at best.

Streetfighter - the animated movie. 10/10, my favourite animated movie of all time and has one of my favourite fight scenes from any movie, animated or not (Chun Li vs Vega). As I'm on an old school manga vibe, I'm gonna watch Fist of the North Star now.
