Basically, but you don't come by those parts too easily.

And why would I want it to be "good to go"? It's serves as an artifact of historical significance to me, nothing else.

I'm not saying you would want it to be anything more, and you've already explained why you have it.

It wasn't much of a deactivation, imo. I can see why they would change the law. But drilling holes through the weapons seems excessive. Middle ground option would be better.
