MGMT: I've heard this album too many times to rate it. I'm sure it was really good when I first heard it ... but meh. I almost had just just skip "Kids" 'cause I've heard it too much.

I liked MGMT so much that I killed it for myself.
Yeah, I liked some MGMT songs from Oracular for a while, but I grew tired of the band pretty quickly..

Agree with those above that are sick of MGMT.. Well, I was never a fan tbh, and Kids was massively overplayed. liq's description fits well; "meh".

Taninaka - Freeform To Raid
Well, was really nice to listen to. Background music, it felt like. It's the sort of thing I can imagine hearing a live band playing in a decent restaurant (as background music while people dine). Or maybe that's just because of it's jazzy sound.
Shame it was only two tracks.

Taninaka's only released work. It's an EP Metal Eater, only the two tracks. I wish he made more music

The two songs on there were released on a vinyl I think. They're the only songs released, afaik.

Sadly yes. It wasn't so hard to find once I knew about it. I Stumbled upon it through some blog, which also had some very good stuff on there. I'll try to find it later on.

The Black Keys- The Big Come Up
Loved every minute of it, reminded of me getting into classic rock for the first time 5 years ago. I thought they stopped making music like that, I was wrong.

Pink Floyd - Animals: 7/10
Grooveshark had almost the complete album, Spotify had nuttn. But yeah, most of the album was there, and I liked it. Pink Floyd was never my favorite of 70's proggers, I've always leaned towards King Crimson. For me, E.g. The Wall is overrated, as Red should be heard more in media.
I still won't be listening more to Floyd, and my level of the respect for the band hasn't changed. But this was a decent album.
