Hand up who is actually new here and not a trollmachine made by mods?
Hmm, AU member of the year, raepz always gets it so he doesn't count, even though I still won't win.
I doubt she meant herself there. The Sheriff wrote:

No, she nominated herself in a different thread, not realising she's been here over a year...Ultrafunkula wrote:

No, I don't need an attitude adjustment. You just need to fuck off.
i can live with it, just pointing out that i agree with ultra on what he said

I'd just like to take this moment to say the following:
- Despite what they said they havent released a L4D patch since 2 came out, and havent fixed any gameplay bugs or imbalances since L4D2 was announced.
- Despite what they said there is no interoperatability between the 2.
- Despite what they said the first game's community is dead.
- And yes, Crash Course is bad. It is little more than a half-assed attempt to shut up a complaining fan-base. Blank corridor based gameplay. Nothing new, nothing fresh, all brick walls, very short, full of visual and gameplay glitches on release, and not even designed with the infected in mind like all the good maps are. It's bad, and a quick hack job to show that they DID care about the first game after the backlash at E3. What a joke.
- And of course, one year later there is still no news of any upcoming new campaigns, characters, weapons or infected that was all promised just before release which is what made me buy the game in the first place.
Everyone who just accepted what they did and bought the game did far far worse than any of my complaining, because by buying the sequel you told them it was right and ok to make huge promises about long term support for a game and then just abandon them a month later to make a sequel that kills the first game off. How can you all be ok with that?
You can call me 'butthurt' all you like but as far as I'm concerned it's a very legitimate complaint. It's worrying how many people are willing to accept what happened.

So it was bad to buy the sequel and give them further funds to create a new game? Besides 2 is fun and games. The lobby thing tho is completely shite. Hard to find players for scavenge and versus and it sucks to wait in the lobby a long time for some random ragequitter to joinSpidery_Yoda wrote:

Those problems (especially the ragequitting) plagued the first game ever since release. They completely ruined it later on.
Instead of trying to find a solution to the ragequitting and lobby problems, as well as the rest of the games horrific balance problems, the team made some new skins and released it as a sequel, which of course is filled with exactly the same problems because they did nothing to try and solve them.
However no, people that weren't aware of the L4D situation can hardly be accused of wrong-doing. But when it comes to everyone else, yes. Valve don't need funds badly enough to make a yearly sequels and to abandon all promised support for a game, they take a slice of every Steam sale, they have a steady income.

The ragequitting issue is probably so visible because the game can't take more than 8 players at a time compared for example to BF2 that has 64 at best. Both have ragequitters but the smaller amount of players shows it more radically. BF2 lobby was the greatest I've seen so far. Good info all in all.Spidery_Yoda wrote:

It just seems like you've become more laid back and 'here for the chat', instead of making threads about how great the mods are and that not being nice to each other is badburnzz wrote:
