Lightroom 2.6 update
I've been using 3 beta
I've been playing with Picasa lately. Pretty neat software for a novice. I recommend it for those who aren't very tech savy. Face recognition is something I wish LR had standard.

yeah, i use LR3 beta for 1/2 the stuff i'm editing - i've 2.5 on XP, 3 on 7. dual boot, still trying to port everything over. . .
here is a website i've found, this guy shoots for the Boston Globe;

Love the big picture. Very popular.

I love that I saw the first couple of images, then scrolled down, too far actually, to the bottom of the post and see that people are in the comments arguing about the existence of a god or not. People are just amazing...burnzz wrote:

Hi guys,
Just dropping in to say the holiday is going well. And Burnzz, yes.. I've been using that 10-22mm a hell of a lot. I should have a wifi connection tomorrow night, so I'll hopefully post some pics. Got some pretty good ones so far

No, I don't need an attitude adjustment. You just need to fuck off.
Joined, just got my D3000 with 18-55 VR and 55-200 VR.
Let me know what the 55-200 is like, I'm thinking of getting one.
For sure, they were out of the VR model so I ordered instead. Pick up is next friday.james@alienware wrote:

Was just playing around with some ISO settings and stuff. Interesting compared to film cameras. Put one shot on flickr.
if you are coming from film, you are going to love the fact that you can take as many pix as you want . . .
Update my flickr with a few new photos

Wow, that first picture is amazing.
Have you seen those things that turn your camera the same speed as the Earth turns, so you can do extra-long exposures without the streaking happening?

My telescope tracks.. I'm sure there is camera equipment that does the same.

Wut. Then the foreground would blur... Or is this for like.. Photos of the sky only (in which case you'd use a telescope adaptor? :p) I have seen something like that used for moving star timelapses. Shouldn't be hard to find an example on Vimeo.com (I'd post one but this is from my phone lol).Finray wrote:

But yeah, first pic is amazing. Also quite like second one.
Amazing. But were the photos shopped?
