USMC Platoon = 3 squads lead by a Lieutenant = 40 men
It depends on their mission but that's the general structure. I read it in my USMC book "Semper Fi" but here's a link.

Here's a pretty chopper. The Ah64 isn't as good as the AH1 in my opinion. Also it looks ugly.
AFAIK Cobras have a better combat record.

The Apache is harder to maintain, and can't carry as many different weapons as the cobra. Just because it can rape 16 tanks with FAF missiles doesn't mean it's awesome.

i took my pictures in person. and how do you know the difference in the maintenance of these machines? does Switzerland have a fleet of both now?
