Yeah, I tried it. All it says is You Killed X[Playername]X X[Weaponname]X or something to that effect. I think I might have done something wrong, but my experience is no, it doesn't work.

[CANADA]_Zenmaster has done a good job with this. I like the hit damage information just not all the little "Whore remarks" It would be cool to have just the information in orange along with the player that you kill/kills you.

Anyone know how to make it to show who punish u and vs versa.

Yes; by default, BF2 processes all the files in that folder. Best to keep the backups elsewhere.gene_pool wrote:

Showing the weapon that killed you included in the "you were killed by"-message on the left doesn't work either.
And these would be really useful,sometimes the killmessages on the top just scroll so fast that you can't see with which weapon you were killed.

- Show how far i am at getting an ammo, repair or health point.

- Show the rank of a person when it joins your squad or vehicle.
- Show the rank of the commander when the game starts.
- Show how many people use each kit at the start of a game.
- Show spaces between my kills in the 'core'. Or how is that called. Mainmachine thingy.
- Show the time when the last arty strike was.
- Show how long the UAV will last/work.
- Show me how far away my kill was when using sniper kit. (PREFER THIS ONE WITH THE HEADSHOT-THINGY)

there's always the possibility that it got deleted somehow, that seems really strange but i think there is a backup english.utxt file in this thread somewhere, i would grab it and copy it over the f'd-up one you have right nowstryyker wrote:
