Well it seems that they're cracking down on illegal activities again. Breaking into stores looking for boot leg merch and getting "CD Salespeople" off the street..

Here is a cop doing there job, sad it had to go like this, but stupid is as stupid does.

I also honestly hate leaving my house around this time. All the added Police force looking to fill the state budgets on tourist and fines. Makes it a very unhappy Cristmas time.

Absolutely amazed nobody got hurt. If anyone's ever been in Times Square from November 15th-January 5th or so knows that it's absolutely JAM PACKED. Nice shot by the cop.

I concern, also in situations like this I think that cops should take down the perp first. I know they knew that he didn't have a gun, but rushing up tackling and frisking them before reading the rights is the way to go.

The cops shot him because he shot at them.

If her son hadn't subscribed to a life of crime and shady dealings, he wouldn't have gotten in trouble with the police and would not have been shot.

Hell, even if he had gotten in trouble, if he had just surrendered he would probably still be alive and just be slapped with a fine for illegal selling of goods.

Instead the idiot decided to cleanse himself out of the gene pool. And people weep for him?
