I realize that this is probably a really common genre that I've just been missing out on, but I just discovered this song from a friend and want to know what genre I should be looking for for more of this.
I'm not talking about the rapping overtop, I'm talking about the scratched out beat in the background. (Starts at 0:11)
Sounds sort-of like Dubstep, but from what I've been listening to in the dubstep appreciation thread, it has a bit more flow than this.
Anybody got any artists to look up?
(I'm starting to get tired of my current mix of high-energy Techno/Electro, and want to get into some slightly more chill tunes that can be casually listened to)
