Decent flick, Richard Gere should never attempt an irish accent again, nothing memorable though.
How many movies do you watch a week?justice wrote:

Watch a film pretty much every night right now, my girl has to sleep early for work but I don't, so I just whip on a some headphones and watch a movie until 2 or 3 in the morning....I hate sleeping early.

I actually loved that bit. Pretty fucked up, but Black pulled that whole role off epically.AussieReaper wrote:

Also, Brutal Legend is awesome.
Whoa... Can't believe these forums are still kicking.
Star Trek (2009) - BluRay - 8/10. Not worth more than two watches, big screen cinema was a great experience and serves that film very well i think, small screen BluRay wasn't as good but the transfer is astounding and sound was great too.
Saw 6 - 5,5/10
I didn't like it so much. I dunno 1&2 were the best, every next one was worse.
Inglorious basterds - 8/10
Interesting, liked it

Fall seven times. Stand up eight.
The blindside 9/10
Great story and great movie. Not perfect, but pretty damn close.

I don't know if I said it yet but I saw Public Enemies and it was awesome! Just lacked a little action and sex but otherwise it was great!
And above your tomb, the stars will belong to us.
Kingdom of Heaven 8/10
Good film, but hella long (~ 3 hours?) and with a fucking 5minute intermission in the middle!

That's what I was thinking. It took a lil effort to follow the first go round but I saw no mistakes.

Spoiler (highlight to read):
10 million Russians dying is a good way to start a film
While the effects were well done, Ka-BOOM, the rest was meh. The chick with the black hair and the big boobs looked better with blonde hair too.
That being said, I don´t have the "Childhood Memories" background, so with that being added it might go to 7/10. Without it´s not more than 4-5/10.
Also watched District 9 yesterday. 8/10.
Was sceptical about the alien setting pulling through, but it delivered. Was deeply saddened and somewhat disturbed by it. It shows well how abysmal human ethics can be.
No I wouldn't say that, the plot was good, it was decent old school sci-fi, just didn't really grip me.lxcpikiman wrote:
