Dave got paid like 1 mil for the third season. While filming ep 3 he pulled out and went to Africa or something. He said that there was a moment there, when he realised the camera crew and such on set weren't laughing with him anymore. They were laughing at him. Some shit about having betrayed who he was and all that. So yeah, I believe Comedy Central got their money back and he went on his way. He does great stand-up gigs now. Seen a few filmed. A lot more mature.

I would think for something like this there would be a bit more press.
