HL2 is awesome.
I think the main point is there were too few plot holes, explosions, and general stupidities for it to be any fun.Sydney wrote:

No, the gameplay was okay, but apart from the physics puzzles, there wasn´t much. And the driving parts were so damn long, I almost ragequit a few times.Miggle wrote:

I personally hated the way the story was presented, all hidden, nothing is told, etc. That is a matter of opinion though, many ppl liked it that way.
Anyways, it wasn´t all that great. I played through it twice. Once when it came out and once after I bought the Orange Box, to get into the Episodes 1+2.
It was a grind.
Don't think I'll finish MW2's story mode.
I'm not huge on games where the devs just throw thousands of lemmings at you.

Whoa... Can't believe these forums are still kicking.
I'd rather play Far Cry 2Sydney wrote:

I finished HL2 but not Ep 1. Episode 2 was awesome though.

Far Cry 2, quit once I hit the Heart of Darkness
Bioshock I quit right when I got to the door to the final battle, didn't have all the stuff and never bothered to finish.
Some cheap game put out by a independent company, SORM or something like that.
EDIT: Damn, you guys stopped with a bunch of pretty good games...

I love Half Life 2 and the Episodes. I've completed them all a few times. I don't really get why everyone here hates it either.
I'm glad i'm not the only one that hated that about the singleplayer.Flecco wrote:

I have two categories for this:
1. Games that I wouldn't mind finishing but don't have the time to.
2. Games that were too tedious to finish.
Right now, the only game I can think of that fits cat 2 in my opinion is Spore. I don't want to spend 8 hours eating skeletons on an island so I can unlock the full palette of body parts.

This thread makes me sad
I'm the kind of gamer that plays the same 10 games over and over and over again and has 100%'ed nearly all games I own. I don't understand the people who need to get a new game every week, I could play the same one for a year.

I did finish it but fuck me sideways the lemming bits were really, really getting to me toward the end. Thank fuck there were only certain spots where they went crazy with them.Finray wrote:

Oh, I know everyone is a hired goon down there, but they don´t work for the same guy. They are too busy tearing each other apart over drug dealing territory and cheap hoes.Cybargs wrote:
