STEAM crashed the last time I played a game on it and I had to reinstall it.

I removed steam and then reinstalled it again and now my games do not show up.

I did not remove the games.

Is there a way to scan for the games i already have installed or do I have to download them again?

Thank you for any replies

Just replace the steamapps folder, then when you reinstall the game under steam it goes straight to 100%.

Well, did the folder actually get deleted when you removed steam?

Doesn't steam ask you if you want to delete the games already installed when you uninstall steam?

And yes you may have to redownload all the games you had.

Never ever uninstall Steam. It gives you a very small warning that it will uninstall all games in the process, and then thats it. All gone.

Always just 'reinstall' it. NEVER uninstall.
