The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. The trackball is all I use. I can't stand the pad. The trackball just always works, isn't sensitive to skin temperature or moisture, and is more accurate with practice. I wouldn't get a laptop without one.liquidat0r wrote:

In Austria you can buy lots of different notebooks without operating systems, but only for students and only at the beginning of each semester. The price differences aren't always that huge, though. But the Thinkpads are in the line up.
