It's here! Starting today, the Battlefield: Bad Company 2 PS3 Beta is going live World Wide. Intense vehicular multiplayer action on the map Arica Harbor awaits participants in possession of a Beta code. Up to 24 players compete to secure valuable crates in the ‘Rush’ game mode as the action moves across a variety of different locations. From an initial vehicle assault on a military outpost the war winds through streets of a deserted town to an intense final fire-fight in an industrial harbor. If you are not yet familiar with the Beta map, make sure to check out the newly released Episode 2 of the Battlefield Moments series, as well as the Beta announcement trailer and the Arica Harbor gameplay video.
During the Beta we will be monitoring servers and back-end, as well as gameplay balancing and tweaks. If you are a Beta participant, please take a moment to help us tune the game by providing your feedback in the forums set up for this.
These are the options at hand:
Combat Studios closed forums
Use your Beta key to log-in to the closed forums
EA Forums
You can also leave your feedback on the EA forums
SONY Beta Central
North American players can also feed back in the forums set up in the SONY Beta central. To access the forums you log in using your SONY log-in information, and you will be entitled to access the Beta central for Battlefield: Bad Company 2 once you have downloaded the Beta build from the Playstation Store.
Do you not yet have a Beta code? Don't worry, there is still a chance to get in. Reserve the game to get access to the Beta, with participating retailers only and while supplies last. Also keep your eyes open for local partnerships and code giveaways. Please note that the codes for the PS3 Beta are region specific, so codes distributed by North American outlets cannot be used for downloading the Beta in Europe and Asia, and vice versa.
