You're so full of shit miggle. I played about 40 hours since it came out. Never once did the connection drop. No one left the game, and it easy to just mute people. You and your internet just suck harder than a Thai hooker.

I want to dropkick this Miggle girl right in the face.

I'm impressed that I offended you by explaining my experiences online.
I come to this site to get some info on games and whatnot, but every post seems to be you contemplating suicide because the game isn't everything you dreamed it would be.

is it really complaining to document what's happened to me? I was updating that post as it happened.illExtend wrote:

Experiences with games are different with every user. No need to get pissed at someone and return with personal attacks because someone didn't like the game.
There are plenty of other people in this thread saying they enjoy the game and are having no problems.

I like the game a lot, but I've had both happen to me many, many times.

miggle you do complain about games a bit too much, (and this is someone who agrees with most your points)
Blackbelts are just whitebelts who have never quit.
I just don't mindlessly adore games, I critique them. A game has to actually be good for me to like it.m3thod wrote:

I'm putting a video up on youtube to show the drops. If anybody didn't believe me before.

You just have to get used to his style, kind of like with maddox or Yahtzee.
I think most people who disagree with me haven't played anything from before 2004.mtb0minime wrote:

So you can get online with a cracked version now? Skidrow?

Can anyone PM me the steps necessary to get online?
I'm using Skidrow, have searched around and only found stuff that requires Razor cracks, and I'm not sure how I should fuck around with Steam.
Thanks

Or perhaps it's that you view older games with rose-tinted glasses and hold new games to an unattainable standard that previous ones hit? COD4 is not COD1. It's not Goldeneye. The gaming community is so much bigger than it was 10 years ago that you aren't going to get many games (if at all) that will hold up to the standard that you want. Games are made for the masses, not some niche market. I'm sure plenty of people have the same issues as you do with MW2 - just realize there are plenty sat on the other side of that fence that enjoy the game.Miggle wrote:

Perhaps if people pirated less the game developers would focus more on giving the gaming community at-large what they want instead of having to market a dumbed down game to the masses in hopes that they move more units of an adequate product instead of less of a polished product.
Maybe my standards are high, maybe their standards are low, whatever. Games should be getting better, not worse.KEN-JENNINGS wrote:

And people like you should buy games and then bitch about them so you actually have a leg to stand on. It's a vicious cycle. Or, don't buy them at all.
Worse and better are matters of opinion. I personally enjoy MW2 more than MW1 - the game got better, not worse for me.

I haven't bought most games I didn't find worthy of my money.KEN-JENNINGS wrote:

Worse and better may be matters of opinion, but most people have very uninformed opinions. Imagine somebody only watched movies from 2004 on, or listened to music from 2004 on. They'd be missing out, wouldn't they? Their opinion of the best music/movie ever would be different from most peoples, wouldn't it?
But comparing games made now to benchmark games of 8 years ago isn't the same as having an informed opinion. I've been playing video games for as long as you've been alive, does that mean my opinion matters or is better informed than yours?
You sound like a curmudgeonly old man pondering about the good ol' days. Times change, developers changed, the gaming market changed.

I've played most major games from 1991 on, and plenty from before then. I am far more experienced than the vast majority of gamers, I know what made good games good and bad games bad in the past. Is it not true that I have more basis to judge games on than somebody who's only ever played games on the 360?KEN-JENNINGS wrote:

MW2 is made "for the vast majority of gamers". That's my point.
