I am loving this.

If you go against Obama's big govt. socialist agenda you are a right wing extremist and need to watched, even though you participate in peaceful demonstrations like a tea party.

Kill 13 soldiers in the name of Islam, and we better be careful not to "jump to conclusions"

To date, no one in this administration is calling Ft Hood what it was. An Islamic terrorist attack, nor are they calling Hasan an Isamic extremist.

SPeak out against Obama's policies however and bam you are an extremist.

Go figure.

I think the DHS is more worried about things like Ruby Ridge or Waco. Not just people who disagree with Obama.

They wont call it a terrorist attack because it would give people the right to say "well bush kept us safe from a terrorist attack since 9/11, Obama couldnt!!!"  thats why they are hesitant to call it what it is...

Ummm if they are worried about events like that, then they need to be looking within themselves not at the public.

Those tea parties were stupid, and the attendees are what I like to call "sore losers."

That said, Obamatopia isn't (and won't) working out well either, both sides are so far out of touch with reality it's scary...

Nope they are not, what Obama is doing is against the Constitution, not "sore losers". they are people trying to preserve their freedom against govt.

Believe it or not the Constitution was not written to curtail citizens, it was written to curtail govt. and it is being largely ignore by that govt.

Maybe so, but they should still watch out for the next McVeigh. Radical conservative living in a liberal country.

Point taken, however, most conservatives have something to loose, and by and large are just getting the word out for the next elections.

Thats the thing about jumping to conclusions, you don't call things until the facts are in.

Still its funny, no-one called this an islamic terrorist attack.

BAGHDAD —  The U.S. Army sergeant who has been charged with murder and aggravated assault in the fatal shooting of five fellow soldiers at Baghdad's Camp Liberty was due to leave Iraq soon after three tours.

Sgt. John M. Russell was taken into custody outside the military counseling clinic following Monday's shooting at Camp Liberty, said Maj. Gen. David Perkins. It was the deadliest case of soldier-on-soldier violence since the Iraq war began in 2003.

Russell, of the 54th Engineer Battalion based in Bamberg, Germany, was charged with five counts of murder and one count of aggravated assault in Monday's shooting, Perkins said.

He said a probe has also begun into whether the Army has enough mental health facilities in Iraq, where the attack at Camp Liberty has drawn new attention to the issue of combat stress and frequent deployments to battle zones.
People go nuts from time to time, white non-muslims included.
I guess this didn't get much press because he wasn't islamic.

good point. Except the strife caused by democrats who changed their mind mid fight for politcal gain, thinking of politicas over victory, was aiding the terrorists.

ya mean don't jump to conclusions unless you are a friend of Obamas and was arrested?

Yes that was also terrorism, in the strictest sense. However it was really a guy that went nuts, completey out of character

Hasan was an Islamic extremist, all evidence points directly to that fact.  He did not go nuts, he knew what he was doing and it was a sucide attack that he survived and his actions was right in line with his beliefs.

So because he posted about suicide bombers being heroes etc on the internet before his attack, that makes him a Islamic terrorist, not nuts. Pretty sure that calling suicide bombers heroes requires you to be nuts. Also, I'm pretty sure that the prerequisite for going on a suicidal rampage is more about being completely insane than religion. If non-Muslim's can do it and not be classified as terrorists, than how is it any different when a Muslim does it?

Hasan and Russell were both nuts. However, it seems that Russell was just insane and killed people because he snapped. Hasan may have gone insane as well, but it's possible that he also justified his actions as being in the name of god:

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,574546,00.html

If Russell had been telling people that "God is the way" and "the hour of Judgment is nigh" then yeah, people probably would have called him a Christian extremist.

I've tried but I simply cannot see Fort Hood as a terrorist attack. The guy was a Major, you don't just put your hand up when they're giving out ranks and get designated to be a Major. He had a history of concerning behaviour he was about to deployed which is a high stress time, he was apparently constantly berated about his name and faith. The only evidence pointing to him being an Islamic extremist is his Arabic name and Islamic religion. If you're going to call his actions a terrorist attack with no further evidence you may as well hold up a sign reading "I am a bigot!" Now it could later transpire that this was a terrorist attack but at the moment it seems to be little more than a guy going crazy and spazzing out with a gun - it's not like this kind of thing hasn't happened before.

"A suicide attack that he survived"... honestly lowing, that's scraping the bottom of the barrel.

Maybe if the US descends into its own little civil war then they wouldn't be fucking around with loads of other countries, thus you get less islamic terrorism, so there's a plus. Maybe it's time the US had abit of its own medicine in its backyard, and no I haven't been playing too much Modern Warfare 2! (Haven't played it at all)

The truth ^^ and it always comes out...

To add one more observation: One of the worst moves in US Prez history-- Giving the green light to try the 9/11 attackers in US Civilian court. Thank you, personally, Pres. Obama for sacrificing our rights on these FOREIGN prisoners.

I dunno, I'd have thought most people would be happy those cunts are being tried at the very place they attacked by the ordinary civilians they tried to attack. And they're going to probably get the death penalty, what more could you possibly want?

New York State doesn't have the death penalty.

I remember hearing how it's going to be some sort of Federal court, although it will be held in New York or some shit, so the death penalty is still applicable.

"The Department of Justice will pursue prosecution in federal court of the five individuals accused of conspiring to commit the 9/11 attacks," US Attorney General Eric Holder told a news conference.

"I fully expect to direct prosecutors to seek the death penalty against each of the alleged 9/11 conspirators."
