Can anyone tell me whats the best (in terms of all-around performance/price) Intel Dual or Quad core and also the best new Nvidia card, (again in terms of all-around performance/price) currently avaliable? Looking to upgrade after christmas, perhaps get one of them for christmas. I want to stick with Intel and Nvidia though rather than AMD.

i bought the 9700 pro when it came out, went back to nVidia. i was impressed with that particular card.
when i upgrade, i'll go with the best bang for the buck @ the time - right now it's ATI and Eyefinity . . .
