hey O; your are a fucking idiot.
Where was that thought when that white cop busted the black professor?
You're an empty suit, an out classed socialist dipshit hellbent on chaos and destruction of America.
Fuck you.
I don't know about the last two bits, but several news sources I've seen have stated that he was being investigated for posts promoting suicide bombing.Dilbert_X wrote:

His benevolence and lack of sincerity, personally offends me as an American and and a Marine. He waits over 4 hours before talking about this tragedy, at an already scheduled press conference, and then thanks all his cronies for their work. After 2 minutes hes says, "If you havent heard" he goes on talking for 2 minutes before acknowledging the situation.
What kind of leadership is that? Can you imagine how the MOH winner felt after he started talking about all of the soldiers being killed? I can. I bet he was thinking that Ft Hood should have been the first thing out of his mouth!!!

What I dont get is, if he was under investigations and on watch lists who decided to send him to Iraq?
As soon as he was heard to express glee at the death of servicemen at the hands of a suicide bomber, along with his mental issues, he should have been removed from the military, and denied access to weapons.
It was probably unknown that he was on a watch list at all by the military.zeidmaan wrote:

lol. Interesting that you left in the whole 'whether they asked them to or not'. Are you in total denial about middle eastern sentiment towards America? Team America:World Police was a satire, not a manifesto... What happens domestically in America is fine, it's the tentacles extending across the world that people have issue with. Your belief in your government's military altruism is amazing. This ain't WWII. The US had to hit Afghanistan for their role in 9/11 and now they can't leave Afghanistan because whichever president does earns the 'you lost Afghanistan' badge. Iraq had about as much to do with US security as the weather in Belarus - it was primarily to do with strategic interests. Surely you can't be as gullible as all that. I may be ridiculously sceptical but you swing the other way to a fairly ridiculous extent if you think soldiers were sacrificed by your government purely 'for people in the middle east'.FEOS wrote:
Yeah. Couldn't deal with the reality of giving people the right to vote, get an education, choose their own way, etc. Couldn't deal with the reality of Americans putting their lives on the line and dying for people in the middle east (whether they asked them to or not). That reality must've really thrown him for a loop.
Sure the sentiment and intention of the average US soldier is pure and well meaning, but don't try and use that as some kind of qualifier of unwanted and unwarranted intrusions and interferences across the world, well beyond the borders of the nation.
Given that the fucker was not killed in the incident we will no doubt get to hear some testimony from him, if he hasn't found means to commit suicide before that.

to defect, you would have to leave wouldn't you?, he didn't. He stayed, roamed and plotted among his enemies within their masses below their radar.CameronPoe wrote:
We will have to disagree. As far as I'm concerned he defected, he didn't infiltrate. To engage in the infiltration of something you would have to enter into the organisation you are infiltrating with intent. I don't think he entered with malevolent intent, it developed later.lowing wrote:
Nope, once he turned away from hid oathe, and continued to use his credentials to gain access and favor, he infiltrated.CameronPoe wrote:
Of course he planned it. But I don't think he planned it 21 years ago when he entered the military. That is my point. That would be what would be defined as infiltration.
Infiltration does not have a time table attached to it.
Well perhaps defect is the wrong word. Mutinied maybe.lowing wrote:

It appears that this guy was crackers... even a muslim leader who talked to him had concerns about his mental health.
"Osman Danquah, co-founder of the Islamic Community of Greater Killeen, said he was disturbed by Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan's persistent questioning and recommended the mosque reject Hasan's request to become a lay Muslim leader at the sprawling Army post.
Danquah said Hasan never expressed anger toward the Army or indicated any plans for violence, but during the second of two conversations they had over the summer, Hasan seemed almost incoherent, he said.
"But what if a person gets in and feels that it's just not right?" Danquah recalled Hasan asking him.
"I told him, `There's something wrong with you,'" Danquah told The Associated Press during an interview at Fort Hood on Saturday. "I didn't get the feeling he was talking for himself, but something just didn't seem right."

Someone should have caught this earlier and there is no way this guy should have been deployed, he should have been discharged.

As usual; a failure of leadership and the enlisted bleed. All in the name of political correctness.
Maybe Obama will have a beer with the shooter

either way he's fucked
probably under the UCMJ though, AKA military law. Depending on what the FBI finds I guess he could also be tried in federal court.

He will be tried under the US military system. He is in the armed forces and the crime was committed on a military base. Texas law has no jurisdiction.
The US economy is a giant Ponzi scheme. And 'to big to fail' is code speak for 'niahnahniahniahnah 99 percenters'
