Holy shit these are actually fantastic. I was expecting a lot considering what I spent but they were worth every penny
Razer Lachesis and Nokia 5130. Awesome mouse and a phone that makes calls
once upon a midnight dreary, while i pron surfed, weak and weary, over many a strange and spurious site of ' hot xxx galore'. While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.

Scythe Zipang 2 SCZP-2000
I got a pretty sweet deal on this one with only 26 €.
I had to "outsource" the back fan in my case though, because this cooler is so massively huge. (Yes, thats´s a 140mm fan on top)
On the other hand...
E6600 @ 3 GHz /100 % load before : around 67° C
now : around 44° C
That´s around 1€ per 1° of cooling, good bang for buck, I guess.
G15 died so I decided to go Razer
It's a bit smaller than the G15 so it's gonna take a little bit getting used to, but so far I like it.

Got this delivered to my door step early in the morining
I hope you get lucky with it, 2 mates have those and they break constantly, make sure you register your warranty and keep purchase records etc. Put me right off buying one. Quality is pretty bad compared to the Tarantula, hopefully they've fixed the issues in the past 6 months or so.Sydney wrote:

I got the PSU thingy as well. XD I've also got a pair of OPA627 opamps to replace the original one.. but I'm still waiting for the guy from the store to get back to me with an updated guide. Hopefully by the time I wake up...
So far, all I can say is just.. wow. Holy fucking shit. If you have good headphones, GET something other than your computers audio out to supply/drive them.
You will discover sounds you never knew existed in your music.

All electronics in Iceland have a 2 year warranty from the store that sells the item as long as you have the receipt.TheEternalPessimist wrote:

Friends ones (both Mirror edition ones so it may be specific to those) the keys rock about rather than being steady, been like that since new on both, makes them feel cheap and shitty and after about 3 months or so the enter and space bar keys both crapped out on their fixings which means they flop about even more and sometimes don't work at all, the enter key has fallen off once too. Oh and the volume randomly decides to go all the way up to max as those odd little touch sensitive things they use on the media controls are a bit skittish and tend to trigger them selves for no apparent reason, nice when it's 2am and it decides to wake up the neighbours for you[HOF]Mercenary wrote:

I hate mine with a passion. Mines not even the mirror edition and it never looks good, audio ports sound like shit, etc etc.
Return that shit tbh.

It's has pass-through ports you can run from the outputs of your sound card.mcminty wrote:

When you use them, you hear tons of static.
Wait, what for? I can't imagine a possible need to conenct my keyboard to sound card and separately my headset to the keyboard when I can just plug the headset into the PC itself.TheEternalPessimist wrote:

I know, I never use mine either but it does have them. Has a USB port too, Tarantula (what I use) has the audio ports and 2 USB ports, and the wee 'dock' thing on it that has a mini USB port in it.GC_PaNzerFIN wrote:

Well, can't really say purchased today but as bf2 was down. I'll post now.
But I bought some Cathodes and cables to make this! they Didn't give the best effect in the end but they alright, ugly green PCB on the GPU sucks I didn't think that UV cathodes would pretty much cancel out the shadow tint on my side panel -.- Cables are a bit of a mess too.
*And bought W7 too!*
End result.
