Due to the new patch I'd like to know when a commander recieves points and when you get teampoints.

Battlefield 2 hates Pattonish commanders, so don't bother fighting out there on the front unless the server has very few players. Even then, you'll want to be frequently popping into the commander screen to launch scans and provide other useful commandery services. The best role for a low player-count commander is flag-defensive (GD, AA, anti-tank, spec-ops or engineer). The best role for a high player-count commander is pitching a tent in a seldom-explored, artillery-proof area.Deedubya wrote:
