Assume every player you have is the best at their position. What is the best formation?
I'll be boring and say it all depends on the players you have, and the oposition you face.
Personally, I'd probably do a 4-3-3:
-------------------Buffon------------------------
--Bosingwa----Ferdinand--Terry----A.Cole--
-------------------Essien------------------------
-----------Xavi-----------Iniesta---------------
-----Ronaldo---------------------Messi---------
-------------------Drogba-----------------------
Yes, Drogba, I think he's the best solo striker in the world.
Chelsea fan? me? nooooo.
edit- I've most likely forgotten someone, forgive me if that is the case.

You'd rather have Buffon than Casillas? And Bosingwa rather than Dani Alves?
And Messi on the left?
lulz.
But yeah, 4-3-3 or 4-4-2 depending on who your team consists of.

meh, you could swap Messi and Ronaldo if you like.Zimmer wrote:

And yes, I prefer Bosingwa over Alves.
And I don't really care about the keeper tbh.
So here:

-----------Xavi-----------Iniesta---------------
-----Messi---------------------Ronaldo---------

I certainly wouldn't have Ferdinand, he's getting inconsistent. I'd also rather have Lahm on the left.
I'd probably go with something like this
---------------------Casillas----------------
-S. Ramos--Vidic----Ferdinand----Evra--
-Messi----Fabregas---Kaka----Ribery-----
---------Ronaldo---------Rooney----------
Not so sure about right back as the prem doesn't have any that stand out, Ferdinand was only put in because of the partnership last season with the absolute beast that is Vidic. Don't rate Cole, Evra is excellent. Midfield/strikers are self explanatory.

no...not the best players. best formation.
4-4-2
You can't beat it

Blackbelts are just whitebelts who have never quit.
Er... Not really self explanatory. You would have Fabregas ahead of Xavi? And Ribery ahead of Iniesta? Bollocks to that. Fabregas is nowhere near as good as Xavi, nor will he ever be. I'd rather have a holding midfield than all out attacking midfielders. The Sheriff wrote:

And lol @ Sergio Ramos. Have you seen him recently? Horrendous stuff.
I prefer either 4-4-2 or 4-3-3.
To play 4-3-3 though you really need pacy wingers who can tuck in when the ball isn't in posession and make it 4-5-1.

Somewhere, something incredible is waiting to be known.
I feel a little exposed on the counter with 4-3-3.
Wah wah you haven't got more Barca players.Zimmer wrote:
