If you are PCI-E get an 6800 series
If you are AGP get an 6600 series
If you are AGP get an 6600 series

i have a 6200 turbo cache used to be a good card but now its utter crap iwas thinking 7600gt but apartly a 6800 sounds good from all of you but will it play the new farcry when that comes out as thats gunna be my new game.

if ur really desperate now, get a 6800gt then wait till g80 comes out and buy it. thats the best thing to do
hm, I dont think a 6800GT is the best choice atm... The GPU is based on G43 and also the "last" cards of brands like asus, gigabyte and stuff are way to expensive for the performance you get by those. Have a look on 7600GT (yet not tested by myself) or 7800GT... A good 7800GT should cost about 270-300 €uro and will fit your requierments almost enough

atm for shure...
I have just replaced my 6200 turbocache, with an ATI X1800XT 512Mb. 3Dmark06 jumped from 822 points to nigh on 4000. Little bit out of your price range, I paid £250. Got it from Overclockers UK.
