Also £1.50 glasses of wine in Toast will destroy you, (i seem to have developed an immunity to vodka this week so it seemed a waste of £3.50 to get something i would barely feel the effects of).

Did you get involved in any of the freshers week stuff?

You're into Indie/rock music etc aren't you? Elements do a good night on thursdays, pound a pint and some other good offers on drinks.
Pendle Witch is quite a good pub, cheap(ish) pints. If you're out and want to watch the footy/have a drink go to a pub called The last orders, it's opposite the cinema (Next to Bella Italia which do 50% off on mondays if you're a student) Strongbow is like 1.90 a pint, used to be 1.70 last year, was best place to go to watch the footy. I've never been Bentleys, atleast I don't think I have, what's it like?

Revs is the cheapest on a monday night, I hardly go though because it's so expensive. Also, try and get some of your flatmates together to shop online, tesco, asda etc all deliver to the uni, it's cheaper than sainsburys, plus you don't have to carry it back on the bus

Aye i've been trying to get my flatmates together to do just that, its been unsuccessful so far. I think bentleys was a bit shit as it was tiny and a bit too loud, though they only had the bottom floor open.

You can get a locals vip card for a fiver which gives you tons of deals in lancaster, blackpool, preston and manchester like making revs give you £5 six shot sticks (hard as hell to order when pissed) all the time and 20% off in pizza hut etc... http://www.localvipcard.co.uk/lancaster.html
Seeing as how i used to live in one of the towns it gives offers for and now live in another then i thought it worth it.

I'll have to look into elements on thursdays though as that would be cool. (get a pound off entry and queue jump there on thursdays and on mondays it'd get me a free shot too.)
