Also, anyone have any recommendations on a nice clean/simple rainmeter weather config? I like dark rainmeter but i can't get the feed to work.
ed: nevermind, the xoap just changed to an xml feed.
ed: since i'm a complete nub at this stuff - anyone know how to make the dock completely transparent? Like just see the icons, none of this stuff behind it?

I just got rainmeter and I'm still kinda playing with it, but I love it.
As for your space, I like the weather, sunrise/sunset. Mail is a good option too.

The dock on the left is Rocket Dock. There is an option in the dock settings that let's you change the screen side alignment. The icons I made myself in Photoshop. The wallpaper came from browsing through here.tazz. wrote:

Functional is relative. Easy access to the stuff I care about and use is functional for me. I'm also running shit in the ss. Not just staring at a jpeg ..lol. I used to be part of the ultra minimalist camp. It's not some new curfunkled fad or anything. It's just not for me.
It's all about making it personal to your likes and habits. My desktop is molded around simplicity for me.
