I know there are alot of posts about not receiving ranks, but I think my question is slightly different.

I have a feeling this is related to the 1.03 patch. I had just baught BF2, about 2 months ago. I had about 1100 points when I installed the new patch. After installing the patch, my Rank bar was completely full. I logged onto a server and got a kill or two, and I was promoted to Corporal from Lance Corporal. Ever since then my Rank bar has been completely empty. Last night, I made it to 2600 points, and I figured that maybe there was a glitch with the Rank bar, and I would Rank up, but yet I didn't. So I don't know if I'm just getting a delayed Rank like most people here ask about, or if there is something with the Rank bar that is messing up my stats. I'm still able to earn badges, ribbons, and medals, but just not Rank. So if anyone know a way that I can fix this, please let me know.

Yep same here. Rank bar is not filling but you shouldnt worry about promotion.

When i went from master sergeant to gunnery sergeant it didnt show up on my rank bar either but i did get the promotion.

My rank bar hasn't had anything in it since 1.03 came out either, but I got promoted to Corporal right after the patch, then Sergeant after about a week of playing with no problems.

There's more questions to answer in order for anyone to more accurately take a look at what's going on.

Firstly, I'm assuming that "Kitsu" is your online account name as well. When I went to take a look at Kitsu's stats, the global score is about 1,600. It could be that your stats got dumped, that your account hasn't been updated to reflect the earnings yet, that the server you earned those 1,000 points in wasn't ranked after all, or that you need to try a different server to get the drumroll. Again, this is all speculation until we know more.

96D, my BF2 account is acually Kitsu9. Kitsu was already taken. My BFHQ says I have 2600 or so points. I'm at work now, so I can't verify that number at the moment. If you get time to look it up again, let me know!

sealAnubis, you said that you got your rank even though the bar hasn't moved? If that's the case maybe I'll get it soon enough. I don't know.

I still don't know which upgrade I wan't now. I already upgraded support and sniper. I think, I'm leaning towards medic, assault, or spec-op. I got all my basic kit combat badges, so I don't really need a specific weapon to help me get another badge.

It is just a bug that came about with the new patch, don't worry about it.
