Helllloooo....

K, well I need some new music. I'm into metal and metalcore.
I like bands such as All That Remains, As I Lay Dying, Parkway Drive, August Burns Red, Protest the Hero, Divine Heresy, Children of Bodom, Meshuggah, Megadeth, you get the picture.

So if you have any decent metalcore bands that I haven't already heard of, throw em at me, I'd like some new material.

And I honestly don't care if you don't like my taste in music. If you know of any metalcore bands, post them. If you hate metal and all it's sub-genres, then you don't need to be in here.

No problem. I made some small adjustments, I realized a band on there wasn't what you were looking for, and I added another one instead.

I'm trying the other ones out. I really like bands with heavy breakdowns and stuff that you wanna headbang to.
Also, nice voices like Dreams by We Came as Romans.

And yes minty, Sonata & Stratovarious are "Hero Metal". But good bands nevertheless. E.g. Dragonforce on the other hand is "Nintendo-metal".

Check out post-hardcore; you'll find some good stuff.

I've always had the opinion that At The Drive-In = Post-HC, but wikipedia lists bands (E.g Thrice) that I would definitely take out of the post-hardcore-genre and insert into the oh-ever-so shameful "nu-metal"-pidgeonhole.
