I'm sure GameSpy can be flexible enough to make an exception, seeing as he isn't your everyday yaahoo glitching under Sharqi hotel.mo1esdude wrote:
man thats harsh! but i guess its a slap on the face to enter reality for him.
I reckon EA should give an explanation about it, but then again if they did that they would have to for every person they wipe

Did they give you a reason? You've got every right to ask for one,{TA}FireStorm wrote:

i see the glitchers still remain, but for some unknown reason my account is gone.
i dont cheat,i dont glitch...
oh well,if they needed to remove a lagit player in favor of the nob glitchers,so be it.
time to find a new game.
And to the people who says he should get out more, remember that its his right to play computer games all day if he wants. At least Battlefield won't drain your wallet like a woman will...oh, wait...

So interesting when people start bashing someone that is online a ton. I know an old friend that used to play just as much as firestorm in another game. Did he get outside? Yes he did he was married and had no problems with taking the kids to games and everything else after work. The thing is he owned his own shop and played during that time. I guess there are some benefits to owning your own business eh?<{SoE}>Agamemnar wrote:

If anything I pat EA on the back for giving incentive for Firestorm to go outside, catch some sunlight, meet a girl, make some friends etc.
You know, normal things. Not 2500 infront of the fucking computer playing BF2.
EA Games, Challenge Everything!Pubic wrote:

Please don't leave Firestorm! If you do you will just be showing all the BF2 community that it was always about the points for you, and not the fun of playing the game.
Plus who will all the tank whoring commanders look up to? You were always their hero, don't let them down.

And in this case, it would be against the RoE. I don´t think, that he cheated, but if you try to stay on top and someone takes "your" tank on "your" server... it wouldn´t be the first time, that an admin player kicks for that, but firestorm is the most famous and in this position he might be the example to warn the rest of all those admins kicking for their own purpose.Hyper wrote:
maybe kicking for commander position?
maybe there was an EA/DICE guy on the server and he kicked them for the seat?
Oh well...I bet Karkand was gettting boring after 1000 hours of play anyway. It'll be great to get outside once in a while...right?.
EA makes games...but they don't actually PLAY them. I mean test them, sure they have good ideas but the Final Product is always under quality of what it could actually be.
Ubisoft does games right... I hope to see them as the #1 Company That Produces Games in the Future.

The only reason i can think of is , when you play 95 % of your time on one map, and that map (Karkand) - never has planes, transport-choppers, attack-choppers, carriers -, your are not playing the whole game.Cbass wrote:
DICE and EA have their reasons firestorm, they wouldn't just smoke u for no reason.
Its more like playing a subset of the game, some kind of modern DukeNukem FPS.
Not enough reason for EA to resets his stats though IMO.
From another pespective, IF - like Agamemnar said above - "a lot of the top 100 players have shared their accounts" with other players, that is some kind of competition-falsification, is it not ?
Football teams dont play in the same competition as 1-man teams, dont they ?
But how would EA be able to prove that? I have no idea.
THose "server-admins"who exploited the command bug recently , who now invaded the top 10, THOSE are the ones to be reset in the first place !

I really do not think he had multiple people playing his account but then again I can not say that because I am not on 7 hours a day. I had been in his TS chat and everytime I played with him it sure sounded like the same guy. I do know he was one of the better admins I have played with since he actually took care of idiots trying to give people team kills and other types of nonsense. 2500 Hours is way to much for anyone but thats what he did and I guess he enjoyed it.<{SoE}>Agamemnar wrote:
I know all about being self-employed. Fact is, Firestorm averaged about 10 hours a day... so even if he did own his own business, how much work is he actually getting done? If he has a life, where does he find the time?splixx wrote:

The only logical answer is, he had none. I average almost 3 hours a day on bf2 and I can tell you sometimes I catch myself struggling to keep up with my social life because of my BF2 addiction. I have 770 hours. That is too much in my opinion.
I don't even want to fathom what I would be like with 2500+ under my belt.
Alot of the people in the top 100 have shared accounts. This means, one account is used by multiple people, at an internet cafe, at school, by roomates, etc. Was Firestorm one of these?
On the quote of shadowbane that was the worst failure ever to be produced. ERROR client.exe
I recon when your stats are wiped by EA, you get an e-mail saying why. If not, I would find that really weird.
Does Anyone Know The Reason He Got Wiped?! Im Just Curious....its Pretty Funny If You Ask Me.....
Thats gotta suck. But yes, I think they reset him thinking he used the commander glitch. Well there's always new games.
That sucks
i think he was wiped with the/some of the glitchers for the high commander score.
Its odd because there are still a few left in the commander leaderboards. i think EA didnt look into things too good...

Did anyone get a screenie of his stats before they were wiped? It sure would be nice to see what they were, just like was done for |NERV|Raxor ...

He was a Colonel, and I don't think that there were a lot of colonels on his server who wanted to become commander of his team. Everyone of the others with lower ranks were outranked by him. So, why should he kick anyone?[pt] KEIOS wrote:
