I love how he claims that these facts that have come up are "lies and distortions". Even throwing out the whole 9/11 thing and believing Howard Dean's claim that he probably signed the petition without really knowing what it was, that still leaves the "Republicans are assholes" remark that doesn't really need to be spun or distorted. I'm glad he stepped down, but man up and actually take responsibilities for your words, don't say that the other side distorted them when what you said left so little room for interpretation.
