BF2S Forums Used Consoles (PS3, Xbox, Wii)

Thank you for the advice everyone.  I ended up getting a new sexbox, and her name is Sony.










p.s  Will be getting Fifa 10 and PES 10 when they come out.

p.s.s  For those asking why PS3, many reasons really.  But, as a coworker who owns a 360 said, he loves it, but its a ticking timebomb...even the new ones.

What the hell wrong with your boxes over there? There's constantly some rant over here about their reliability. Do they build them from used Chrysler parts or something... I mean I know (irl) only one guy who has had problems with his 360 and that's because he got it modded in a shady place, so it went kabluey so to speak. I have had mine for 1,5 years and not a single problem *knocking wood like a lunatic*.

Not to get too deep back into the same arguments.... But it fucking undeniable that the xbox has had a MUCH higher failure rate then the PS3. It doesn't matter that you and 5 other people you know still haven't had yours break...

Most games come out for both, he can get the games he wants on PS3, it is currently cheaper, its cheaper over the long run, and has a much better track record for reliability.

Tru tru... I'm not trying to start an argument on the same damn old subject which is better Just wondering how the hell so much ppl over there in the US have had so much problems with it. Is it the NTSC thingy or something. Meh, I dunno. Personally I don't like the PS pads. They're too small for my big manly hands. I have been thinking on replacing my dvd player with a PS3 tho... That would wind up the missus pretti good. It's just that I have a nice pile of movies I've bought from N.Y. when visiting there so I need my areacode free dvd player. Don't want to try my luck with modding a console just to notice it broke down and I threw away 300 or so euros. Mebe I'll add the PS once we move to a new place and I get a new loan from the bank.

im on my third xbox in 1 year. and these were brand new ones each time. and after owning a xbox id rather get a ps3 tbh.

Why not go outdoors and do real stuff?
I did buy a used N64 and Goldeneye one really shitty winter, and gave it away about three months later.

Isn't that covered under warranty?
My friend had his 360 replaced or serviced at least 5 times, but it cost him nothing. Just weeks without a console.
