Nobody emails another BF2s member... that's what the private message feature is there for! Could definitely be utilized for something else.

And yeah... Subscriber status removes all adverts, gives you traffic-priority when you browse the site / submit scrobbles (i.e. even when the servers are busy your Profile submissions will be 'live' and streamlined), you can see who views your Profile and when, you get full use of the Radio and download features etc. To be honest I've been subscribing for the last 3-4 years just for the ad-removal and higher network priority. It's only about £20 a year. No brainer considering I visit Last.fm daily, quite easily.

Tbf, that's a bit fail though that link.

If we actually had a dedicated sub forum, with dedicated threads to different genres, and new threads for gigs/festivals etc, I think it would be pretty fucking win.
