Oh yeah KEN, the American indie scene has been amazing too! Bloc Party and co. pretty much summed up the British explosion though- with a few Canadian acts (e.g. Tokyo Police Club) taken under the same wing because of similarities in sound/style.
I'm still going to strongly assert that At The Drive-In are the defining band of my childhood, though. Through all of the phases and small explosions in great-music, they remained the constant. Nothing shall ever top Relationship of Command. EVERRR.
Oh and m3thod, Zimmer helped me set up a website/blog to post my Uni music-reviews and general music recommendations in. I should probably get around to whacking some stuff on it and actually updating it as a habit. Would save me throwing out random, sporadic recommendations to the deaf-ears of EE Chat!
