Never seen the point of AA meetings, they sound like some kind of self-flaggellatory anti-pub.
Meeting up with people you don't know or like in a strange place to discuss not drinking while stone-cold sober.

I don't think I've ever posted here and considering I occasionally drop by this section it would probably be quite fitting.

The name is Edward 'Teddy' and I'm half Norwegian half English. My current address is in England at the University of Exeter but I do officially live in Oslo. I'm a first year law student with a love-hate relationship to the subject mainly due to the excessive workload/way my eyesight is suffering because of all the reading. Right now I'm semi liberal although I probably will eventually honour Churchill's maxim and convert to a die hard con. I am, contrary to what a lot of you might think from my less than average debating skills on these forums, quite interested in the hole politics thing after having partaken in many MUN conferences of which, strangely enough, 4/5 times I represented Germany. MUN, btw, stands for Model United Nations which basically means you simulate UN procedures including the GA and the security council. I'm a regular football player as well as skiier and die hard partier (as a result of uni). Some may even say I'm quite the lady's man . Most of the regulars on this forum will know who I am so I'll stop boring you.

Languages: English (Fluent), Norwegian (Fluent), French (Almost fluent)
