Now, if only you knew how little quality control that is beeing done to Evian/Bottled water in general compared to tap-water...Red Forman wrote:
I buy Evian also. Idc what people say tbh.Uzique wrote:
Well what does San Pellegrino spell in reverse, you fucks?
I'm just kidding, I don't buy that shit. I like the taste of Evian... it's enough effort alone to keep myself off the soft-drinks, let alone to go to filtered/tap-water.
I've been trying to keep up on my fruit-juice and water whilst I go running, or just whilst lying around in the garden reading in the sun. Just out of curiosity really, I want to see if the health benefits of really keeping up with these RDA's is all that noticeable and beneficial.

Does anyone else here actually drink the recommended daily amount of water? This last week I've been trying to swig down 5 bottles of Evian per day or so, and all it does is make me want to EAAAAT, all the time.
I could say the same for people who go to 5 star restaurants but are fed 2 star food. Still, it tastes good so meh.FloppY_ wrote:

I have a friend at University that is always carrying around a large mineral-water bottle with him, normally Evian or something else that's even more pointlessly expensive. He drinks a TON of water a day; says it's good for his skin. He models occasionally for a place in Paris... he's living the life. But I can barely neck the recommended daily amount here, it just kicks my appetite into overdrive and I find myself constantly snacking. Late night cream crackers? Oh yes.

I normally drink 6 or 7 pints a day, not too hard. Is very good for you though.Uzique wrote:

6-7 pints a day? Jesus. I guess if I cut out my morning coffee and the occasional glass of cold, iced Coke then I could maybe neck that much a day as well. I've been really health and fitness conscious lately, anyway, have hit the partying and the nights out far too often since leaving my house and going on the Ibiza-week and home-bender... I don't actually put on weight because of my metabolism but I still feel physically and hygienically like an absolute turd.

Ice cold coke, is
wat
yeah, cut the coke, replace it with a pint of ice cold water. There +1. And when you go to bed, take a pint of water, and read a book, there's +2.Uzique wrote:

But if you start drinking a lot more water, you'll start feeling better. Does help your skin as well.
Ooooh I knowwww. But my sugar intake is, and has been for like 5 years, at absolute diabetic-levels. Absolutely terrible for it. I've never had to worry about calories or fat but sugar and snacking is definitely the shit that will catch up with me.Gooners wrote:

And yeah Schlopps. I hear about loads of benefits of consuming lots of water, but just want to actually test it for myself and see if I feel the increase. Healthy skin, better concentration and allsorts, as well as it being easier to put on weight and muscle... half of the stated 'benefits' don't really interest me, I've just never ever been a 'water drinker' and figure it's something I should work on.

I ain't worried about that, Jesus. When I said health and hygiene I didn't mean sexual performance. I'm already a total Peter North.
That's probably why marine insists on Evian though

I just don't 'get' the taste of water. I drink it because I know it's good for me, but still a fizzy glass of ice-cold Coke quenches my thirst easier.
I'll keep at it for a few weeks, forcing it down until it becomes habitual and preferential, haha.
Another thing on my list is to actually start eating goddamn breakfast as well. Skip it everrrrrytime.
