They are nice Uzi but why not Oakley's?
Don't get him started on Oakley!
EDIT: Uzi, you mean wear them inside? Or you mean just in shit English weather? Either way, I'd say the second ones would be better.

'Cause I want a fashion-pair of sunglasses, '27, and Oakley's are a bit too sport'ish for me. I'd be wearing these in casual-prep wear, not beach-shorts and a vest!

Roy Orbison had them. But otherwise, I've seen the similar model, but more straight ones.Uzique wrote:

Call me old-fashioned, but I believe in the timeless look of Ray Ban Aviators.
I need around tree fiddy.
As soon as I get my first tailored suit I'm buying some prescription Oliver Peoples - yes!
DonFck: Yeah, aviators are really nice and just as classic as the Wayfarers. I can't really pull them off though, if you know what I mean. Not my style.
Ghetto: I mean to wear them during not-so-great weather, never to wear them indoors! Haha .
Thanks for the advice anyway, I've sent a message to the retailer to try and get a picture of someone wearing the gradient grey lenses too, to gauge just how opaque the different grading is.

I guess I may have seen men wearing them, but I wouldn't have noticed.Uzique wrote:

I can safely say that I have never heard of Ray-Ban Wayfarers.
now, those look nice. the ones uzique posted i really done like, they got that horned bit that attaches to the frame, just looks ugly tbh.
Fair enuff thats a good point.Uzique wrote:

The cost of tailored suits makes me sad.Uzique wrote:

It's an acquired taste - the Wayfarer style definitely is the complete opposite of the Aviator. The Wayfarer is like the classic rockabilly 1950's style that has been seeing a massive resurgence and rise in popularity again lately; normally it's people wearing tacky fake plastic neon-coloured ones out to club-nights and whatnot. They definitely look better when they're being worn by somebody.Vilham wrote:

Here's a huuunkish vampire wearing them, haha, this shop has everything.
Liq, you've not heard of them? They're the bomb! Oliver Peoples are also very high-quality fashion glasses, I prefer their thicker prescription frames though.

Don't they sing about them in 'boys of summer'?liquidat0r wrote:

Never been a fan of sun glasses in any way shape or form.Uzique wrote:

I'd rather have something like this: http://images.google.co.uk/images?q=ski%20sunglasses
Rather than any fashionable item.
Hahaha.
I love starting fashion discussions on BF2s - it makes me look like such a metrosexual!
And yes, he is a massive arse. I just love how the website gives you celebrity photos as demonstration. Classy.

i have some wayfarers, because they are 'flat' i could put a prescription lense in them. since my operation they are a $300 paperweight.
the gray lense is G15, blocks UV a + b. Ray Ban ftw
Putting prescription lense in Ray Bans is a costly business when you can just get contact lense, or laser surgery even for half the priceburnzz wrote:

Yes I knew it.
DJ 27 hits the notes again pop pickers
3.15 in and she says 'hair slicked back and wayfarer's on'.
Its worth watching cos of the flange on offer.
Even DJ Sammy knows what wayfarer's are Im not sure if Mr Donald Healy does, I say that as he did the original version of this timeless classic. Boys of summer.

Link dead.
The guy at the shop got back to me and recommended me these...
How fucking sexy are they?
The new coloured-range of Wayfarers are awesome. I still want a classic black pair first, though!
