Top one looks very bulky, and firing 5.56 it would have more recoil than it's shape would allow for. The bottom one has none of these issues.

For the size of the LRC, the lack of a foregrip is a mistake methinks. Unless I'm expected to hold the little nub at the front, I dont think I could work it well. It does look very comfortable though.

That said, the Stubee makes me think I'd be firing those from each hand, which would be fun

I call the Stubee.

I used the P90 lower receiver for my design. I have held and fired both the PS90 and the FS2000(the civilian versions of the P90 and FN2000), and i can say that they are very comfortable to hold and to shoot. Even the FS2000 which is chambered in the same round as my design. Because it is a bullpup design, recoil isn't a problem due to the fact that the majority of the weight is contained in the back of the weapon. With the front end being much lighter, it also makes it very easy to maneuver in close-quarters.

I thought we were judging things on a visual aspect and not predicting how it would function.
