Just a little service announcement. Do not, I repeat, do not waste your money on RF Online. In all my years of gaming I have never been so dissapointed it a MMO title. It's nothing more than a mindless grind, and a PvP battle. Crap, crap, crap.
Funny thing was when I posted it in their forums. Fanboi's got mad. Lol. Then it got lock. They lock threads that say anything negative about the game. Haha. If they didn't thats all their would be. So say your 50 bucks. Don't say I didn't warn you.
One more funny thing was that the fanboi's couldn't disagree with any of my complaints. They just got all bitchy.
Here's why I don't like it.
Character Creation = crap. like 7 faces to choose from
Tutorial= the most pointless tutorial in the history of gaming. Also had misprints in the text that, if you couldn't figure out what they meant, you would be stuck in the tutorial alone. (it's an instanced map with just you in it)
Game= After you leave the tutorial you go to your factions HQ. Then proceed out side and start grinding, and grinding some more. That's it. Grind till you can live long eh\nough in PvP to have fun. That's the whole game. I tried it dispite the bad reviews and post. I should have listened.
Now my lose in 45 bucks in your gain in the ability to save yours. I wanted to like the game it is just too shallow. It's like a "MMO for Dummies"
