New Vegas is probably going to be more of a Fallout 3 than Fallout 3 was. It's being made by most of the same guys who made the first two games, it's going to be set out West also. So we'll actually be able to see the repercussions from the events of Fallout 2, as well as get another look at the growing strength of the NCR.FloppY_ wrote:
But then again, they have to think different or the game will just feel like Fallout 3 v2Poseidon wrote:
Not to mention there'd be yet another Metro to deal with.FloppY_ wrote:
Emagine standing in the middle of NYC, after a nuclear explosion... I mean, as the biggest city in the world, it has to have been a priority target for the chinese. as such, if it isn't just 1 big crater, emagine how awesome the destroyed and aged skyscrapers of Manhattan would look like
I think NYC would be the best option as well.
Fallout Vegas changes the theme from a "metropolitan" enviroment, to that of post-city of dreams,,, which could become pretty good if they bring along the things that made FO3 so good...
Correct me if i am wrong since i never played 1 or 2. BoS is supposed to be the bad guys? Not these helpful friendly guys?
Im excited for NV bc I want to get into the true FO series canon.

Ehhh From what I've read the BoS are the good guys trying to rebuild society through technology.destruktion_6143 wrote:

The Brotherhood were never bad guys, they give you allot of help in FO1 and play a huge role in the game's plot, in fact if you join the brotherhood in FO1 then you can actually convince the end boss to kill theirself instead of having to fight them. Their presence in FO2 is much smaller but they still help you, although all the really do is give you some power armor, though you can get better power armor by infiltrating the Enclave.destruktion_6143 wrote:

Either way, the BoS guys are complete douchenozzles. I hate them.
Good guys I believe.destruktion_6143 wrote:

They certainly are in FO3 that's for sure.
Damn it feels weird coming back to the wasteland after being in space. I seem kinda out of place back at home
I really hope there's more DLC after this. Zeta was okay but for a "finale", it wasn't exactly spectacular.

There won't be. they said it would only be 5 DLC. And cmon, FO3 really doesnt need more $10 DLC for 2-4 hrs gameplay.Poseidon wrote:

I want a hard copy expansion for $30-40 and get 100+ hrs of gameplay.
FO: The Commonwealth (pls pls pls pls!!!)
Well i've done nearly everything in FO3 now (I have no expansions). I've just killed the last behemoth, done all quests, made all custom weapons, found ~150 locations, found aaaaalmost all bobbleheads (I blew up megaton before I could get the one there ) and so yeah. I've pretty much done everything.
So what are your opinions on the expansions? Which one (if i were only going to get one to save money) should I get?

Broken Steel without a doubt in my mind.Spidery_Yoda wrote:

If you can get another one after that, I'd probably say go for Anchorage based on loot alone. If you want a story based DLC, Point Lookout's your best bet.
Get them all, they are cheap as dirt tbhPoseidon wrote:

$50 isn't exactly cheap. They're worth it, but it's still not cheap. Especially if Yoda wants to save money.FloppY_ wrote:

If they were $5 a piece, I'd agree.
wtf, where are you buying your DLC ???Poseidon wrote:

They are only $10 (each)
And $50 is still cheap for the amount of content added !
A full PC game is $70-$75

5 DLC's, $10 each.
I realise it has probably been answered in the thread before, but I figured asking again would be best because the more time passes, the better idea you have about all 5 packs. You know?
The thing about Broken Steel is that i've just spent 100+ hours in the wasteland and so would prefer one of the DLC's that takes me somewhere else, like Point Lookout. Or the other 3.. Hmmm. I probably won't get any of them for a while anyway because yes, saving money is a concern and so I'm not sure if I can really get any of them at the moment. As much as i'd like to expand my game a bit .

Broken steel adds a new area (airport) plus other new mini-areas and alot of new point of interests in the capital wasteland...Spidery_Yoda wrote:

Broken steel is the biggest, both in content and physical size

BS was by far the most valuable. But that being said, all the others had so much potential, and now all you can do is go back and give teddy bears or get punga... Oh at least in MZ you can go back for unique ammo.
mate, you are talking about The Pitt, NOT Broken Steeldestruktion_6143 wrote:
