Fallout Vegas changes the theme from a "metropolitan" enviroment, to that of post-city of dreams,,, which could become pretty good if they bring along the things that made FO3 so good...

New Vegas is probably going to be more of a Fallout 3 than Fallout 3 was. It's being made by most of the same guys who made the first two games, it's going to be set out West also. So we'll actually be able to see the repercussions from the events of Fallout 2, as well as get another look at the growing strength of the NCR.

Ehhh From what I've read the BoS are the good guys trying to rebuild society through technology.

Either way, the BoS guys are complete douchenozzles. I hate them.

Damn it feels weird coming back to the wasteland after being in space. I seem kinda out of place back at home

Well i've done nearly everything in FO3 now (I have no expansions). I've just killed the last behemoth, done all quests, made all custom weapons, found ~150 locations, found aaaaalmost all bobbleheads (I blew up megaton before I could get the one there ) and so yeah. I've pretty much done everything.

So what are your opinions on the expansions? Which one (if i were only going to get one to save money) should I get?

Broken Steel without a doubt in my mind.

If you can get another one after that, I'd probably say go for Anchorage based on loot alone. If you want a story based DLC, Point Lookout's your best bet.

Get them all, they are cheap as dirt tbh

$50 isn't exactly cheap. They're worth it, but it's still not cheap.  Especially if Yoda wants to save money.

If they were $5 a piece, I'd agree.

wtf, where are you buying your DLC ???

They are only $10 (each)

And $50 is still cheap for the amount of content added !


A full PC game is $70-$75

a full game brand new is $50 here in the US.

I realise it has probably been answered in the thread before, but I figured asking again would be best because the more time passes, the better idea you have about all 5 packs. You know?

The thing about Broken Steel is that i've just spent 100+ hours in the wasteland and so would prefer one of the DLC's that takes me somewhere else, like Point Lookout. Or the other 3.. Hmmm. I probably won't get any of them for a while anyway because yes, saving money is a concern and so I'm not sure if I can really get any of them at the moment. As much as i'd like to expand my game a bit .

Broken steel adds a new area (airport) plus other new mini-areas and alot of new point of interests in the capital wasteland...

Broken steel is the biggest, both in content and physical size
