Australia has bought about 22 of these. Does anyone know if they are good or not? They look pretty good, and I am sure they do the job pretty well. Does anyone know anything about these.
Aww, I thought it was going to be a tiger attacking a helicopter
Thankfully BF2:EF is not a simulator (This is the Eurocopter). I'm sure it's a great piece of machinery. Expensive as shit though.
I need around tree fiddy.

It's no Ka -50 or the mother of all attack choppers Mi 24 Hind.
That being said they reportedly handle well, though I believe the tiger was built more for recon/light assault and support purposes rather then laying ground rape like the choppers mentioned above.
They should prove rather useful though as our island has a awful lot of terrain that would require reconnaissance should anyone attempt an invasion.

Hooch sums it up nicely.
I'd love to fly one of those babies, but I think you'd have to be one of the army's uber good pilots.

Would rather have Apaches tbh.
You cant go wrong.
I'm sure it is a good chopper but it hasn't proved itself in combat compared to the Apache which has.
The irony of guns, is that they can save lives.
Its is a Very good chopper. don't listen to all the Americans saying there shit is better

Modern choppers specialize in certain things... The point of engineering were at makes it so one cant be vastly superior

The Tiger was just another failed joint Euro concept as far as I know. Superb quality but overpriced and, due to bureaucracy, already outdated by the time it hit mass production.
I have reservations about any country buying them in this area, but you're sure to have a decent system. Not as proven as the Apache but with more potential as it is newer and lessons learned with the Appache and others have been taken into consideration for the basic design.

KA-52 is a meant to be used in conjunction with KA-50's, not as a stand alone system. Still it does look (even) sweeter and the side by side seats seem to be more comfortable. In any case yes the KA-52/50's own any other (combat) chopper.Ioan92 wrote:
