So it has two ninjas, the evil white ninja storm shadow and the good black ninja snake eyes. I don't get it, tbh. Black symbolizes evil and corruption while white symbolizes good and purity so shouldn't storm be good and snake bad? It doesn't make sense or since storm shadow looks like a klan member did they not want to put him on good team because he would have to beat up the black ninja all the time?
chill
All I gathered from the commercial I saw last night was that this chicom-looking guy fires an RPG that's filled with some glowing green liquid (possibly liquid tiberium) at the Eiffel Tower.
Then three guys are like "o lawds we must stop this."
Then there are explosions.
It's like Transformers 2 all over again, except with no eye candy like Megan Fox.

Not really, black ninjas are common to the stereotype of ninjas. Thus the black one, the regular one, is the good one. And the white one, the odd one out, cos ninjas are never clad in white, is the bad one.Macbeth wrote:

It's a case of different being bad, not black or white being good and evil
Why are you thinking so much into GI fucking Joe anyway, since when were there ninjas in that. I'd have thought GI Joe would just kill them both because Ninjas are Japanese and GI Joe doesn't like Japs
Or am I getting GI Joe confused with something else

Yeah, wasn't Storm once on the GI Joe side...
If I remember correct he was cast out from the ninja school or whatnot, picked up by Cobra and later on deflcted to G.I. Joe. Read the comic 20 years ago so it might not be that accuratefirebolt5 wrote:

Isn't this the kind of question that should have asked in the 80's?

None of you are old enough to remember the original GI Joe. I had the fucking storm shadow action figure. He was the bomb till I broke his little plastic body in half one night.
Kung Fu Grip yo.Marlboroman82 wrote:

More like CGI Joe
tbh, you think WAY too much!
My Storm shadow had a busted knee Couldn't get him to stand properly without reinforcing the wiggly knee with some tape. Did you break the rubberband that was keeping the torso and the lower body together?Marlboroman82 wrote:

About the G.I Joe movie though, it looks like it has very very little in common with the original cartoon, apart from Snake Eyes' appearance. I don't like the idea of those powered suit thingymabobs being used in just about every part if the trailer is to be believed.

You know I always thought GI Joe was meant to be pretty tame... you know just a soldier in teh Army, Airforce, Navy or Marine Corps, (depending on which one you got,) with a kung-fu grip. When the fuck did Ninjas and super-suits come into it?
Suffice to say I didn't follow GI Joe at all.
