I'm getting a lenovo but i have some concerns about the specs

I've been looking through all the models and finally found something that fits my price range(~1000€)
Here are the specs (roughly):
Thinkpad SL500
Intel Core 2 Duo P7370 (2.0GHz)
4gig RAM DDR2-667
Screen 15.4" tft wsxga+ (1680x1050)
Graphics card      NVIDA GeForce 9300M, 256MB
Hard drive is a SATA 250gb 5400rpm
All cool extential ports (HDMI etc etc)
Batter 4h lifetime (6-cell lithiumion)

Im gonna use this mainly for surfing, working and mild gaming(tmnf/hl2) and use it to watch hd movies by linking it to my tv
Will it run 1080p movies with just 2ghz power?
I'd really like this model because it has high res screen, i've only found few other models that have 1680x1050 screen here in finland :S and ibm's store wont ship to finland (?) and ordering through a retail store is a hassle and lastss ages :x
Other option would be getting a 2.5GHz and 1200x800. I wouldnt mind the low res but 1680x1050 seems awesome to me
Tips? Other options for me?

Lenovo is the best notebook manufacturer currently. That price tag you see takes into account the near flawless hardware and the best customer service of all other companies. It will work fine with what you're talking about. ThinkPads are ideal for surfing/working and the one you have can play some light games. 2ghz is plenty for watching whatever you want.

I say go for it if you're buying it from the Lenovo website. They don't mess with their prices. You get what you pay for.

Mm, and a lot you don't pay for.  They take a chunk of your hard drive instead of giving you discs for reformatting and then slow down your startup with their crappy utilities (most of which already are present in Vista).

But hey, you can drop them and they'll still work.

You do realise that it says MAX 4 GB memory, but they give you 2?
